Inspection - Liberty Drive in The Peninsula at Windsong Ranch, Prosper, Texas!

Today, the Town of Prosper will inspect the workmanship & pool safety prior to becoming permanently encased in shotcrete.

They will inspect the bond wire the grounds the pool shell to the house electrical ground. The Town of Prosper requires 4 bond clamps, one on each wall. If the pool has a spa, a 5th clamp is also required in the spa. Then 4 clamps are required on the "skyrods" that will later be folded down and tied to the decking, one on each side. If there is no decking on the back side of the pool, a bond wire is still required around the pool and must be bonded on all 4 sides of the pool. This would be buried under the sod, turf, or landscaping as required.

The inspector will ensure that each drain is >36" a part and that the plumbing "T" in the middle is equally spaced to prevent injury to swimmers. Hayward variable speed pumps also sense when there is a blockage and automatically shut down to prevent an injury. Picking the right pool builder & equipment is critically important for the safety of your family, and you can read about Abbey's tragic story here: https://hubs.ly/Q01FvlVh0
