Infinity Edge Spa - Liberty Drive in The Peninsula at Windsong Ranch, Prosper, Texas!

Infinity edge spas are very popular in the North Dallas area, but they are incredible difficult to build properly. Only the most experienced masons should even attempt them due to the complexity of planning the corner & edge overlaps. 

In this picture, you can see the white Platinum thinset by Laticrete in the grout lines. This will be covered by the final grout color and the tiles will be cleaned of residue before the end of the project. 

The brown "form boards" ensure alignment with the water-level chalk line and hold the weight of the tile while the thinset is drying. They are nailed into the shotcrete and are easily removed once the thinset is dry. Another row if tile will be installed below this area to continue the infinity spa down to the water channel surrounding the spa.

Masonry is like the drywall and paint inside your home. This is where the rough shotcrete construction (like framing studs) gets covered up with the finished product that your family will enjoy for years to come.
